On February 26, 2005 Showplace Magic ceased operation after over 20 years of providing top quality magic to performers around the world.
Our close was brought about by several factors. Crossroads Mall, our physical location, is preparing to go through a major renovation and we were going to lose our lease. Magic, as an art, is evolving into primarily an internet based delivery system. While we think this is very detrimental to magic in the long term, we realize a "brick and mortar" magic shop is no longer a feasible business and one that wouldn't warrant building a new location when our lease is revoked.
We will be starting a completely new and dynamic web site offering original and redesigned magic of our own creation. This site promises to be one of the most innovative and top quality locations of all magic related sites.
